Professional Experience

1982-1984: Teaching Assistant for the Biostatistics Division of the UCLA School of Public Health. Taught lab sections for upper division and graduate statistics courses.

1984-1986: Trainer at BMDP Statistical Software Inc. Taught BMDP short courses and developed new

curriculum.

1986: Statistical Intern at Proctor & Gamble Company. Advised Research and Development Department on experimental designs and analysis. Developed PC software for laboratory

bioassay and receptor binding analysis.

1982-1988: Staff Statistician for the Statistical/Biomathematical Consulting Clinic in the UCLA School

of Medicine. Helped investigators with study design, proposals, database management, statistical analysis and statistical review of manuscripts for publication.

1987-1988: Statistician for BMDP Statistical Software Inc. Developed proposals for new commercial software. Wrote and revised documentation and educational materials published by BMDP. Conducted research in recent developments in statistical methods.

1988-present: Senior Statistician for the Statistical/Biomathematical Consulting Clinic in the UCLA School of Medicine. Provide statistical and mathematical support for researchers in the UCLA community. Conduct research into the statistical aspects of receptor binding models and pharmacokinetic modeling.

1989-present: Lecturer for the Medical and Public Health School Biostatistics Courses. Courses emphasize study design and the use of statistics in the medical/dental literature.
